Turn your data into a business advantage.  Centerboard was designed to capture information (data) as soon as it is available and get it to where your business requires it.  Regardless if it relates to accounting, warehousing, inventory, maintenance, sales, marketing or any other business activity, Centerboard can manage it.

Centerboard associates data to files and documents.  Files and documents are not processed (accepted in the system) unless all data fields have been validated and verified.  You can batch data elements for external application processing.  Centerboard will even build an output file and append new data to it until a given event triggers its release for processing.  If you require real-time data updates Centerboard can send the data to the proper software application as soon as it is received in the application.

Centerboards’ open data structures utilize the top-tier database engines available. Centerboards’ database tables can be inserted into SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle database engines for data storage.  For a complete list of supported databases see the Technical Requirements.

Images and files are not stored in the database.  Centerboard indexes these files in directory paths to keep the size of the database small.  Storage space for images and files can be calculated and planned for in advance.  You can easily add new locations for file storage and there is no requirement that all files are located in the same directory path.  If your storage is local or remote, Centerboard can manage it.  Millions of images, documents and files can be indexed using less than a gigabyte of database storage.  This design feature will save you money, as you will not have the need for full-time Database Analyst for database tuning and performance enhancements.

If you do not have a database then you should realize that many are available for free.  The choice is yours to make.  If you feel it is necessary to pay maintenance and supports costs or use the free engines, matters not to Centerboard.  You will get the performance you need at a price you can justify.
